Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at ada-help.comand any related services (together, “ADAhelp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using ADAhelp, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ADAhelp.
1. What ADAhelp is and is not
ADAhelp is an intake-and-matching service that helps individuals who have encountered physical accessibility barriers at places of public accommodation in New York connect with NY-licensed attorneys for case evaluation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the New York State Human Rights Law, and the New York City Human Rights Law.
What we do: organize the case file you build during intake (your timeline, photos, and barrier categories), shortlist three NY-licensed attorneys whose practices fit your claim, and coordinate the handoff to the attorney you pick.
ADAhelp is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. We do not make any determination of the legal merit of your claim — that determination is made by the attorney you pick, during their own evaluation. The attorneys in our network are independent of ADAhelp. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when an attorney you pick agrees to represent you and you sign their engagement letter — not by submitting information here.
2. The $29 admin fee
ADAhelp charges a flat $29 administrative fee, payable when you reach the contact step of the intake. The fee covers ADAhelp’s administrative work — organizing your case file, researching and shortlisting NY attorneys whose practices fit your claim, and coordinating the handoff. The fee is not a payment for legal services and is not a determination of the legal merit of your claim.
Payment is processed by Stripe; ADAhelp does not store your full card number. The fee is charged only after the qualifier confirms your situation falls within ADAhelp’s scope (NY place of public accommodation, recent visit, physical barrier). If your claim is out of scope, you are not charged.
The first consultation with an attorney you pick from your shortlist is free — attorneys in our network waive the consultation fee as part of being matched through ADAhelp. Whether the attorney agrees to represent you, and on what terms, is decided between you and that attorney directly. Any attorney’s fees beyond the free consultation are governed by the attorney’s engagement letter, not by these Terms.
Refunds: if you believe the admin fee was charged in error, contact us at info@cdwebmarketing.com within 30 days and we will review your request in good faith. The admin fee is non-refundable once we have prepared your case file and delivered your attorney shortlist, except where required by law.
3. Eligibility
To use ADAhelp you must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be a resident of, or visitor to, the United States;
- Submit information in good faith about an accessibility barrier you personally encountered.
4. Your submissions
When you complete an intake on ADAhelp you may provide information including your name, contact details, the place you visited, a description of what happened, and photos. You agree that:
- Your submissions are truthful, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge;
- You either took the photos you upload or have the legal right to share them, and their use does not violate anyone else’s privacy or other rights;
- You grant ADAhelp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, and forward your submitted content to the attorney you pick from your shortlist for the purpose of evaluating and pursuing your potential case, and to operate, secure, and improve the service.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. The license above is limited to the purposes described and does not grant ADAhelp any right to publish your content or use it for marketing without your consent.
5. How we use your information
We use the information you submit to:

- Forward your full submission to the attorney you pick from your shortlist for evaluation and, if they take the case, for representation;

For full detail on how we collect, use, and share information, see our Privacy Policy.
6. No guarantee of outcomes
Settlement ranges, “cases like yours” examples, and any other outcome-related information shown on ADAhelp are illustrative summaries of typical past results in New York and are not a prediction or guarantee of the outcome of any specific case. Prior results do not guarantee similar outcomes. The attorney you pick evaluates your submission individually and may decline to represent you for any reason.
7. Communications
By submitting information, you consent to receive transactional emails about your submission (confirmation, status updates, follow-ups). You may receive informational messages about ADAhelp; you can opt out of non-transactional messages at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or emailing info@cdwebmarketing.com.
8. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
